Display/Media Account Executive

My client has a truly fascinating business, working across the Agriculture, Aquaculture, Veterinary and Food Chain Industries.  They are leaders and pioneers in their field and they are looking to recruit.  The position will involve selling print, digital and sponsorship packages to an established market and to already qualified leads.  You will be a seasoned sales professional with the ability to win business used tried and tested sales techniques.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming and outgoing communications with clients and prospects interested in a portfolio of titles and events
  • Manage, maintain and be accountable for sales activity to meet predefined targets
  • Develop strong client relationships which enhance the standing of our titles and promote profitable sales
  • Develop qualified sales leads to close
  • Make agreed numbers of outgoing calls to established, lapsed and potential new clients to hit and exceed revenue targets
  • Be knowledgeable about our markets, customers, competitors and products to sell solutions to customers effectively
  • Maintain a strong pipeline through effective relationship building, call management and prospect development
  • Ensure accurate use of CRM (Salesforce) supporting sales activities
  • Attend and report on success stories and KPIs at weekly sales meetings

Qualifications and experience:

  • Extensive media sales experience
  • Educated to degree level degree or equivalent relevant industry experience
  • Prior experience of building client relationships
