Our client has been established since 1994 where they began life as a single, black and white local Magazine. In 24 years they have grown to become the 11th largest publisher of it's kind in the Country.

They have a strong belief that if you do something well, it can be replicated built into something amazing. Their growth in readership and circulation is testament to that belief. 

Their primary focus is to give Businesses in smaller, rural towns a voice and their 545,000 published and Royal Mail delivered magazines provide just that!

They have a robust and continuous training programme, where they can take someone with little or no Media Sales experience or someone who has a vast amount of experience and build on their knowledge and their skill sets to develop them into becoming the most successful they can be.

The Company are a close knit team, with 6 people in Production, 3 in Finance and 10 in the Sales Team, headed by one of the most dynamic Sales Directors you'd wish to meet.

Each member of the team has distinct qualities, which make them a powerful asset to the business and they're currently looking for an additional person to add to their already successful team.

You will be responsible for generating your own leads, following them through from initial introduction to closing the sale and on going account management.
You will also be part of the whole design procedure, working with the Client and the in-house Production team to generate compelling and design lead advertising art work.

This is a professional environment set in a beautiful Business Park just on the outskirts of Wallingford, where you will find a fully equipped gym on a pay as you go basis, a separate sports club, a subsidised canteen and a shop.

The ideal person for this role would have one to two years experience in a Media Sales or Business to Business Sales environment and be able to drive.

You will be expected to achieve Company Standards and KPI's and as such your commission structure won't solely be based on revenue generation but will have other key performance indicators attached to it.
